Owen & Co spearheaded the redevelopment of the former Jewson retail warehouse site, located on Carnsew Pool within a designated World Heritage Site. The project involved the design of 55 contemporary flats, carefully planned to integrate seamlessly with the surrounding environment and heritage considerations. Our design approach prioritized sustainability and modern living while respecting the site’s historical significance. We navigated the complexities of working within a World Heritage Site to secure planning permissions and deliver a development that enhances the area’s appeal.
